Privacy Policy

This policy explains what PayoutCal collects, why, and the choices you have. We designed the site to collect as little as possible.
What we collect
- Email address, only if you subscribe to the digest, create an account (passwordless login by email link) or contact us.
- Portfolio holdings you save to an account (ticker symbols and share counts). Holdings entered without an account stay in your browser's local storage and are only sent to our server to compute your calendar; they are not stored.
- Billing details are handled entirely by Stripe; we store only Stripe's customer and subscription identifiers and your plan status. We never see your card number.
- Technical logs (IP address, user agent, requested pages) kept for a short period for security and debugging.
- Aggregate analytics if enabled, via a cookie-free service.
Cookies
We set a session cookie when you log in, a cookie to protect forms, and a preference for light/dark mode. If we add display advertising, the ad network may set its own cookies and this policy will be updated.
How we use your information
To send the emails you asked for (digest, ex-date alerts, login links), to run your account and subscription, to keep the service secure, and to understand which pages are useful. We do not sell personal data.
Sharing
Service providers who process data for us: our hosting provider, our email delivery provider, Stripe for payments, and, where enabled, our analytics and advertising providers. Affiliate partners receive only the fact that a click came from our site.
Retention and deletion
You can unsubscribe from any email with one click and delete your account (and every holding and watch attached to it) from the account page at any time. Technical logs are rotated automatically.
Your rights
Depending on where you live you may have rights to access, correct, export or erase your data. Email hello@payoutcal.com and we will respond promptly.
Children
The service is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
